They immediately checked the elevator's "Maintenance Project Table" for the last three times, and the "Maintenance Result Column" was marked with "Normal" √ ". Subsequently, law enforcement officers inspected the elevator machine room and found that the lighting in the room could not be used properly. There were protective covers for the traction machine that had not been restored to their original position, oil drums for the elevator track (containing about 1 liter of track oil), and replacement parts for the elevator piled up in the corner of the wall. There were also discarded elevator replacement items piled up in the fixing frame of the traction machine. There were a large amount of lubricating grease condensation near the observation hole below the traction machine and on the fixing frame of the traction machine, and multiple cigarette butts on the ground.

Regular maintenance of elevators is not only related to their safe operation and service life, but also to the safety of passengers' lives and property. After investigation, it was found that the maintenance unit did not strictly follow the operating procedures for elevator maintenance in the community, and attempted to deceive by forging records. Their behavior is suspected of violating Article 45 (2) of the Special Equipment Safety Law of the People's Republic of China. According to Article 88 of the Special Equipment Safety Law of the People's Republic of China, the Market Supervision Bureau of Fucheng District has made a penalty decision to confiscate the illegal gains of 3600 yuan and impose a fine of 20000 yuan on the parties involved.
